§ 110.01   LICENSE REQUIRED.

It shall be unlawful for any person, persons, firm, partnership, or corporation to conduct, run or operate, or keep for the purpose of conducting, running, or operating in any public place in said town, any pool, billiard, or Jenny Lind table, roulette, shuffle board, faro, keeno bank, nine pin or ten pin alley, wheel of fortune card table, bowling alley, or any other table or machine for gaming or playing games without first having procured from the Clerk-Treasurer of the town a license therefor as provided herein.

§ 110.02   APPLICATION; LICENSE FEES.

(A)   Any person, persons, firm, partnership or corporation desiring a license as specified in § 110.01 of this chapter shall make application to the Clerk-Treasurer designating the true and correct name of the applicant and the particular game or games which such applicant desires to operate and conduct and where the same is to be operated, and shall pay to such Clerk-Treasurer a license fee as follows:

(1)   For pool, billiard or other similar games the sum of $15 for the first table so operated, $10 for the second such table, and $5 for each additional table.

(2)   For card tables and similar games the sum of $10 for the first table so conducted or operated and $5 for each additional table.

(B)   Said Clerk-Treasurer shall thereupon present such application to the Board of Trustees for its acceptance and approval. Upon approval of such application by the Board of Trustees and the payment of the proper license fee, the Clerk-Treasurer shall issue a license to said applicant. Said license shall be granted for one year and no license shall be granted to an applicant for a period less than one year.
